Your new role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Drill and Blast Engineer to play an integral role in an exciting growing coal mine site.
* Strategic planning, optimisation and monitoring of Drill and Blast activities
* Build positive working relationships, coordinating with operations teams to develop plans, schedules and designs
* Provide and deliver plans to operational personnel and monitoring progress against plan.
What you'll need to succeed
* Bachelor of Engineering in Mining or Civil
* Experience in Coal Mining in a Mine Engineer role
* Strong working knowledge Vulcan, Deswik, Blastlogic or equivalent software packages
* Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
* A current Queensland driver licence.
