About the Role
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to fee earners in a family law practice;
2. Assist with drafting legal documents such as pleadings, petitions, and settlement agreements;
3. Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately labelled and filed appropriately;
4. Coordinate client meetings and court appearances, manage calendars and schedule appointments; and
5. Conduct legal research.
Skills & Experience
6. Previous experience as a legal secretary or paralegal in a family law practice;
7. Strong knowledge of family law procedures and legal terminology;
8. Proficiency in legal research tools and document management software;
9. Excellent communication and organisational skills;
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently;
11. Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks; and
12. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
