Our client is looking for an experienced Aged Care Registered Nurse to join the team focussed on ensuring an excellent quality of care to residents and by extension, their families.Key Responsibilities that will be a part of the job:1.
Deliver Person-Centred Nursing Care
• rovide compassionate and individualized care to elderly residents, considering their unique physical, emotional, and social needs.
• A apt care approaches to support residents with diverse health conditions, including dementia, mobility limitations, and age-related illnesses.

Administer Clinical Care and Medical Support
• P rform essential clinical tasks such as medication administration, wound dressing, and chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
• M nitor residents' health status, recognize changes, and respond appropriately to ensure optimal wellbeing.

Collaborate on Care Planning and Reviews
• W rk closely with residents, their families, and the multidisciplinary care team (e.g., doctors, physiotherapists, dietitians) to assess needs, develop care plans, and regularly evaluate progress.
• E sure care strategies align with residents' preferences and medical requirements.
• R cord all care interventions, observations, and health updates in accordance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.
• E sure documentation is clear, timely, and supports continuity of care.

Guide and Mentor Care Staff
• P ovide leadership, training, and support to Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and care workers to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• F ster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Uphold Resident Safety, Dignity, and Comfort
• P omote a safe, respectful, and homelike atmosphere where residents feel valued and comfortable.
• P otect residents' privacy and autonomy while maintaining infection control and risk management standards.
