Position Overview
Randwick High School, established in 2025, serves approximately 1,500 students with a diverse cultural background. The school focuses on inclusive learning and high academic standards.
Specific Selection Criteria
* Approval to teach English 7-12, including English Extension courses, with demonstrated capacity to lead and develop colleagues to plan, implement, and differentiate evolving curriculums.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data‐driven, evidence‐based teaching initiatives that improve student success, engagement and outcomes.
* Demonstrated capacity to lead and inspire a faculty culture with high expectations, professional growth, and collaboration supporting a diverse range of students, including high potential and gifted learners.
* Proven ability to be a dynamic member of the school executive leadership team and to lead initiatives that address whole‐school strategic directions and productive relationships across the school community.
General Selection Criteria
* Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
* Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
* Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance of individuals and teams.
* Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
* Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
