Project Coordinator Role Summary
The ideal candidate for this position will be a skilled and organized individual with experience in project coordination or management within the construction sector. They will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects valued at $100M+ and possess strong organizational and time management capabilities.
In this pivotal role, you'll support the successful delivery of construction projects, working closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
* Coordinating efforts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
* Maintaining up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, contracts, and change orders.
* Tracking progress, updating milestones, and proactively addressing any issues to keep projects on schedule.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* 2–3 years of post-graduate experience in project coordination or management within the construction sector.
* Proven experience delivering large-scale projects valued at $100M+.
* Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Capacity to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Proficiency with construction project management tools and software.
* Sound understanding of construction contracts and regulatory requirements.
