The Role
Join a dedicated team in the agriculture and seed production industry as a Storeperson and Forklift Operator. This hands-on role offers a mix of warehouse operations and equipment handling within a rapid-paced, safety-focused environment. You'll play an key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of warehousing and dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you'll contribute to the day-to-day efficiency of the site by performing a range of warehousing and forklift duties, including:
Operating forklifts to move, load, and stack seed bags and other materials
Assisting in the operation of machinery involved in seed mixing, cleaning, and treatment processes
Picking and preparing orders accurately for dispatch
Stacking and loading seed bags onto pallets and preparing stock for transport
Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and general housekeeping standards
Ensuring safe and efficient handling of goods and compliance with site safety procedures
$33.38 per hour plus penalty rates
5-month duration with potential to extend
Approx. 38 hours per week
