Develop, mentor and guide regional company representatives to maintain a cost-effective security program to meet and exceed all customer, Australia & New Zealand Government and Corporate policies and directives as applicable. This role will lead the single Defense Industry Security Program (DISP) membership that governs all L3Harris business units in AustraliaThe remit of this role is challenging and diverse. Your work will revolve around designing and executing a comprehensive security strategy aligned with government and enterprise frameworks, providing security advice to senior leaders, maintaining the company's crisis management and emergency response preparedness and developing policies and procedures designed to maintain the company's security accreditation and guarantee business continuity. Core routines may involve but not be limited to analysing business activities to identify and mitigate against potential risks, reviewing and updating security controls in accordance with government requirements and advice from associated agencies, represent L3Harris on security advisory boards, carry out internal and external audits, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensuring compliance with DISP, PSPF and other regulatory requirements cross all Australian and New Zealand locations and facilities.
