Permanent Part‑Time role

* 30 Hours per week – flexible days and times
* Salary range $67,000 – $75,000 FTE including superannuation.

Job Description

The Role

We currently have an opportunity to join our growing Port Augusta team. As one of our Personal Bankers, you will be responsible for advocating Beyond Bank Australia's core values and delivering an exceptional service to our customers that is aligned to our Customer Ownership Strategy whilst achieving individual performance targets that contribute towards the overall branch performance.


Core Duties

* Provide a local customer‑owned banking experience to new and existing customers.
* Proactively connect customer needs to Beyond Bank's offerings through excellent listening skills.
* Manage general enquiries and provide sound advice and information to our customers.
* Contribute to a high‑achieving team environment with your commitment to success and strong work ethic.
* Manage customer bank accounts, including opening, closing, and overseeing transactions.
* Collaborate with specialists in the business to deliver the best solution for the customer.


Qualifications

* Excellent customer service skills.
* A passion for building lasting customer relationships and serving the local community.
* Able to work in a dynamic customer service environment.
* problem‑solving and analytical skills.
* Banking or financial services experience desirable, but not essential.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be joining the Branch Team, a group of dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to provide exceptional support to our customers. Whether you are working face‑to‑face, or over the phone, you will be committed to ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience with their banking needs.

Recruitment Process

The process can include a phone screen, video interview, virtual or face‑to‑face interview, psychometric testing, and all relevant background checking. Some positions may require undergoing 4 weeks of mandatory full training.
