About the Role
We’re looking for a university student studying Accounting or Finance who would like to gain real experience working in a small accounting practice while completing their degree.
This is a casual role designed for a student, offering flexible hours around your studies and the opportunity to learn directly from experienced accountants.
You’ll support the team with a mix of accounting and administrative tasks while developing practical skills that will help you build your career in accounting.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Assisting with data entry and transaction processing
* Supporting account reconciliations and basic bookkeeping tasks
* Preparing and organising client documentation
* Maintaining electronic files and records
* Assisting with spreadsheets and accounting software
* General administrative support to the accounting team
You’ll receive guidance and training, but we’re looking for someone who is curious, reliable and willing to learn.
About You
You might be the right fit if you:
* Are currently studying Accounting, Finance or a related degree
* Are in your second or third year (preferred but not essential)
* Have strong attention to detail
* Are comfortable using Excel and general office software
* Are organised and able to manage your time well
* Are keen to gain hands-on experience in an accounting practice
Previous office or bookkeeping experience is helpful but not essential.
