Key Responsibilities
* Perform general mechanical servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
* Inspect and diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
* Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues
* Conduct routine servicing, safety inspections, and preventative maintenance
* Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective vehicle components with attention to detail
* Carry out testing and road tests to ensure vehicles meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
* Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and workshop documentation
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety standards and workshop procedures
* Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
* Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with customers when required
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic
* Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repair techniques
* Experience working with petrol and diesel vehicles
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
* Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices
* Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and time-management skills
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
* Availability to work weekends or extended hours when required
