The Role
The Supervisor role oversees the day-to-day activities at one or more project sites. The role is primarily responsible for the safe and effective supervision of sub-contractors, suppliers and works generally with the objective of achieving successful project outcomes. The position requires mobility and flexibility in work location, potentially across multiple sites both regional and/or remote areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Directly managing site works and sub-contractors in compliance with relevant HSEQ laws, regulations and/or codes of practice.
* Develop and grow strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, sub-contractors, and suppliers by making regular contact and resolving customer/client issues promptly.
* Actively monitoring the program / project performance vs schedule, including managing site based critical path activities and resolving task or activity-based issues.
* Together with the Program / Project Manager prioritise activities to align with delivery of the project goals and KPIs.
* Responsible for working collaboratively in the coordination and management of site works in accordance with the schedule and planning works with sub-contractors and suppliers to avoid delays and conflicts.
* Updating, documenting and escalating changes to program / project scope, cost, schedule or quality, because of site works, as soon as practical.
* Actively engage in the development of a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and adherence to quality management processes and procedures to enhance the performance of the program / project.

Qualifications
* Trade qualification in relevant construction industry or project management field, preferably with supervisory experience.
* Proficient knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction processes, commercial obligations, including legal and regulatory requirements, including HSE obligations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with a high level of knowledge and experience with industry relevant technology tools, equipment and applications.
