Systems Engineer – Managed Service Delivery
About the role
We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Managed Service Delivery team. In this role, you'll provide high-quality operational support to customers, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and help maintain reliable, secure managed services environments.
You'll work closely with customers and internal teams, applying strong technical expertise and communication skills to resolve incidents, manage problems, and continuously improve service delivery.
Key responsibilities
* Provide technical support across managed services environments
* Resolve customer incidents and service requests within agreed service targets
* Analyse and diagnose complex technical issues, recommending solutions where no precedent exists
* Liaise directly with customers to manage incident and problem resolution
* Accurately log, track and manage support jobs and documentation
* Assess risk and evaluate the impact of new technologies
* Participate in the Managed Services on‐call roster to ensure service continuity
* Represent the organisation professionally and deliver exceptional customer service
Skills & experience
* 2-4+ years' experience in an IT environment
* Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
* Experience administering and troubleshooting VMware, Hyper‐V and Nutanix environments
* Exposure to Azure, Microsoft 365, and Exchange
* Solid understanding of systems management and basic networking
* Proven ability to engage with customers at all organisational levels
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
