FIT College registered as an RTO in 2009 and started with its core area of expertise in Fitness qualifications and has since expanded into First Aid, Business, and Training & Assessment qualifications. FIT College delivers courses online and face-to-face to over 20 campuses throughout Australia, and internationally.

About the Role
The purpose of the Careers Advisor role is to promote and sell FIT College courses while meeting customer needs. The Careers Advisor is also involved in the administration and maintenance of student enrolment information whilst being an integral frontline customer service representative for FIT College.
- Allocated an assigned region(s) plus received additional general national leads. Predominant enquiry for Personal Training courses.
- Receive 100+ new monthly Course enquiries which are managed through browser-based CRM. All lead contacts are direct enquiries to FIT College.
- Communicate with enquiries to advise, sell, and enrol them in courses through phone-based sales from the office.
- Work together with a team of Careers Advisors and other department team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate product knowledge to effectively communicate with a potential student about FIT College courses and answer any initial questions related to their enquiry and course requirements.
- Maintain the administration of student enrolment information and ensure enquiries/leads are recorded in the sales tracking systems (HubSpot & FIT Express).
- Under-take follow-up procedures for enquiries by adhering to contact protocols.
- Adherence to all company policies & procedures as well as price structures.
- Providing quotes upon request as well as taking payments
- Respond to all enquiries in a timely manner and take accountability for leads generated via phone-in.
- Communicating with the Education or Administration Department any issues and work towards finding immediate resolutions.
- Recommending product options that fit the needs of the student, such as courses, study modes and payment methods.
- Identify appropriate prospects, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new enrolments.
- Collaborating with the Careers Team leader to create and review sales goals.
- Work towards building relationships with students or potential students by acting as a point of contact for personal support; or by distributing provided information to relevant parties when further assistance is necessary.
About You
As the successful applicant for the role, you will have:
- Previous demonstrated experience performing in a sales-based role
- Great people and relationship-building skills
- Confidence to perform in what is mainly a stand-alone role with remote support
- Self-motivated, hardworking and a reliable team player with a can-do attitude
- An open Australian driver’s licence
- Proficient computer skills including using email and the Microsoft Suite
- Certificate III + IV in Fitness (desirable – not mandatory)
