Clinical Nurse - Mental Health | Mackay Community Health Centre, Queensland
About the Role
Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse (Grade 6) to join the Mental Health - Continuing Care Team (CCT) from 23 March to 12 April 2026. The Continuing Care Team provides clinical case management and therapies for adults aged 18-65 experiencing significant and long-term mental illness.
You will be working Monday to Friday, providing high-quality mental health care in the community setting, with weekends and public holidays off.
Requirements
* Clinical Nurse - Grade 6
* Mental health community case management experience - mandatory
* Competent in completing ECGs
* Ability to administer intramuscular injections
Desirable Experience
* Knowledge of CHIMA database
* Knowledge and proficiency in ieMR
* Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health and/or Mackay HHS
* Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2016
