You’ll work closely with owners, senior leadership, and managers across all warehouse locations to solve complex, urgent challenges while building long-term, scalable systems & processes.This is both a high-pressure firefighting role and a strategic change leadership opportunity.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Logistics OptimizationRedesign warehouse layouts for flow, efficiency, and throughput across multiple facility typesAddress infrastructure constraintsDevelop short-term triage strategies and long-term facility planning (with landlord coordination)Process Engineering & Performance UpliftConduct time and motion studies, labour planning, and identify bottlenecks.Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies to warehouse and order fulfilment processesImplement real-time, measurable process improvements to stop ongoing operational lossesERP / WMS & Master Data CleanupLead master data clean-up efforts across product, location, and inventory fields.Partner with IT and operations to ensure ERP/WMS accuracy and usabilityHelp drive better system integration and usage across sitesStandardize workflows across ROI, NI, and UK depots – including bonded and regulated goodsEnsure cross-site visibility, coordination, and performance alignmentContribute to post-Brexit logistics streamlining and customs process simplificationLeadership & Stakeholder EngagementWork directly with the company’s owners and senior leadership to prioritize and execute key initiatives.Support and coach warehouse managers and supervisors through changeInfluence across all levels — from shop floor teams to senior decision-makersTechnical Experience RequiredCore Capabilities5+ years in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics roles (preferably FMCG or 3PL).Expertise in warehouse design, layout optimization, and throughput improvement.Strong ERP/WMS knowledge — hands-on experience with master data setup and governance.Familiar with Lean/Six Sigma (Black belt preferred)Data & ToolsConfident using Excel and reporting dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Experience in project planning, tracking, and reporting progress to senior teamsAbility to quantify and present ROI of operational improvementsIdeal ProfileThrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments — calm under pressure, solution-focusedCapable of both strategic thinking and hands-on executionClear communicator, credible with senior stakeholders and front-line teamsMotivated by performance, ownership, and driving real change
