Tourism Noosa is seeking an experienced and people-focused Membership Executive to join our high-performing, values-driven destination management organisation. This opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in shaping the future of Noosa's visitor economy.
Reporting to the Manager – Industry Development, this is a hands-on, relationship-led role where you will be the primary point of contact for Tourism Noosa members.
You will build strong industry relationships, grow and retain membership, and ensure members receive meaningful value through engagement, support, and connection to Tourism Noosa programs and initiatives.
This role includes regular face-to-face engagement across the region and attendance at industry events.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively recruit, onboard and retain Tourism Noosa members
* Foster trusted relationships across a diverse tourism membership base
* Coordinate and support networking events, workshops and industry initiatives
* Identify and promote co-operative marketing and add-on opportunities to operators
* Represent Tourism Noosa at key industry events and functions (including some out-of-hours work)
About You
You're a confident, organised and people-oriented professional who enjoys working autonomously while being part of a collaborative team.
You will bring:
* Experience in hospitality or tourism services, events, marketing and/or prior experience with membership-based organisations
* Exceptional relationship management, sales and customer service skills
* Excellent attention to detail and administrative capability
* Confidence engaging face-to-face with stakeholders and presenting professionally
* Superior organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* A current driver's licence
Local knowledge of the Noosa region and direct experience in a member-based organisation will be highly regarded.
