About the role:
The Team Leader (TL)is a newly created role and is a pivotal position tasked with exclusively managing and growing AMD's partnership with HP and its distributors. The primary focus is to increase market share for CPUs and GPUs within key product segments. As a TL you will own the end-to-end account management of key commercial Customers and Partners or defined territory and drive portfolio through their businesses network/in the territory. The TL will work in tight collaboration with Customers, Resellers, VARs, SIs and distribution to help drive HP products.They will be responsible for executing the strategy and GTM approach with their nominated accounts. Through close collaboration, the TL will help drive adoption of solutions across the nominated Partners end user customer base of Enterprise, Government, Education and Mid-Market accounts.
The key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing team dedicated to HP and its distribution channels.
Develop and execute strategies to significantly increase AMD's market share in CPU and GPU segments.
Ensure clear, effective communication within the team and with key stakeholders to maintain alignment and momentum.
Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify gaps and opportunities for growth.
Motivate and engage team members to maximize productivity and foster a positive, results/solution-oriented culture.
Navigate challenges proactively, adapting strategies and approaches as necessary to meet business objectives and dynamic market conditions.
Collaborate closely with marketing to align campaigns with customer demands and market requirements.
About you:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following:
Leadership: Proven experience managing large diverse teams with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop talent.
Industry Expertise: 5-10+ years in the IT industry, with a solid technology understanding of CPUs, GPUs, and emerging technologies such as AI.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to devise and implement effective strategies to increase market share and improve sales performance.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to articulate insights clearly to the business and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Technical Acumen: Strong technical competency or willingness to deepen knowledge in processor technologies and their applications.
Business Insight: Skilled at analysing market data, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to drive informed decisions.
What's on offer:
An attractive remuneration, up to $240,000 base, plus commissions plus super (OTE up to $300,000+)
Initially a 12-month fixed term contract with the possibility for extension
