Reporting to the Head of Digital Transformation and working closely with the Marketing Brand Strategist, you will develop and execute a comprehensive video-first content strategy, overseeing the creation, curation, and management of engaging content that truly connects with your audience. You’ll help transform an existing base of written content into immersive, story-led video across relevant social media platforms that connect and resonate with adventure enthusiasts and the outdoor-loving community.
Your thorough understanding of digital trends, brand and content platforms is crucial, as is your ability to drive video content across social media, email, influencer and community partnerships, testimonials, storytelling, blogs, and articles. You'll be confident creating content yourself or briefing and steering freelance creators to execute — you’ll have a budget available to bring great ideas to life.
With your eye on the data, your strategic mind will enable you to constantly evolve and optimize content to ensure it is effective, visible, and adding real value to the community. You will be instrumental in positioning the brand as a thought leader in the camping and adventure space.
As a strong communicator, collaborator, and content leader, you naturally manage stakeholder expectations by educating on best practices, measuring growth, and reporting on performance. With your finger on the pulse, you can gauge sentiment from online communities and identify trends, creators, and opportunities to tell compelling stories that support business goals.
With 5–7+ years of experience in social media and content marketing, you are a self-starter and networker who understands what works across different platforms. You have a passion for the outdoors — camping, exploring, and connecting with nature — and know how to tell stories that emotionally connect. You enjoy building relationships with relevant influencers and ambassadors to elevate the brand’s voice and presence.
