Role
The service comprises of a team of Mental Health Clinicians, including RPN’s, OT’s and Social Workers. The Mental Health Clinicians are supported by Consultant Psychiatrists, Registrars, Neuropsychologist, a Primary Care Transition Coordinator, Administrative support and this role. This role is primarily based in the Endeavour Hills site but may require to provide support in the Kingston site on request.
This position plays a dual role of providing leadership and support in the care of consumers who are prescribed Clozapine as well as towards improving physical health outcomes of consumers of the Older Adult Mental Health Service. As a Clozapine and Physical Health Clinician you will work collaboratively with other clinicians to ensure quality of care is provided to consumers in the service area. We will look to you to provide sound clinical input to the team and demonstrate competence in supporting, enhancing and facilitating the care of consumers. As this is a Grade 4 nursing role sound leadership, networking and collaboration are essential traits that will allow you to perform your best in this position.

We are looking for someone with:
1. Minimum 5 years as a Grade 3 Registered Psychiatric Nurse
2. great communicator and capacity to network and collaborate
3. Patient centred
4. Experience with Older Adult Mental Health desirable but not fundamental
5. excellent networking and collaboration skills
