Position Summary

The Dealer Manager - Bundaberg is responsible for servicing assigned dealers and growers as allocated and collaborating with the State sales team to provide expert advice for business development activities and for managing assigned projects

Position Key Success Factors

People:

* Participate in market development activities with the State sales team as required.
* Maintain regular "hands on" approach with client base.

Environment:

* Appointment of new re-sellers (when required) as well as searching and opening of new markets and areas for marketing of Netafim products and services within the assigned territory.
* Overall promotion, marketing, and servicing of Netafim products.
* Prepare preliminary design work when required or approved by Netafim.

Partnership:

* Provide sales support to the assigned re-seller network.
* Initiate and carry out field days, seminars, training to dealers and growers.
* Provide regular written and verbal reports as required.

Profit:

* Searching and generating contracts, projects, and sales.
* Work proactively toward achieving agreed sales targets/budgets.
* Follow up of all orders to ensure delivery and payment.
* Submit written quotes for customers requiring special pricing.

Qualification and Experience

* Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or related field
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in agricultural related sales role
* Able to build positive long-term working relationships
* Able to act quickly on your feet and embrace challenges with ease
* Able to operate with a solution approach and identify existing and emerging customer needs
* Able to work flexible hours and travel to remote locations
* Able to think strategically
* Demonstrate solid interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
