As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of facilities and services. This includes leading the delivery of planned preventive maintenance programmes to ensure statutory compliance and effective operation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the management of facilities staff hours worked, sickness, and annual leave.
* Oversee and manage the ongoing compliance with HR policy and procedures.
* Day-to-day supervision of members of the facilities team.
* Plan, organize, and provide training for the facilities team.
* Manage site security rota to ensure shifts are fully covered at all times.
* Support the successful delivery and management of outsourced contracts.
* Responsible for ensuring that records are kept up to date and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Communicate effectively between clients, contractors, and members working within the office.
* Review and manage compliance on CAFM (Ethos/Tabs) system.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A professional qualification in real estate and/or facilities management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft office packages.
* An understanding of UK Health & Safety laws.
