Application Analyst
* Join Corporate Services, a division within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport
* Clerk Grade 7/8 with a salary range of $113,574-$125,720 + super & leave loading
* Ongoing full-time role
About the role
In the role of Application Analyst, you will provide support for a range of business-critical software applications across the department, with the focus primarily on developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Apps/Platform applications.
Some of the key accountabilities of the role include –
* Provide quality ICT support services, enabling the effective development and implementation of new applications.
* Work with ICT professionals, key stakeholders and system users to develop effective methodology for the integration of off-the-shelf applications and systems.
* Analyse and identify opportunities to enhance applications, databases and systems, and to augment processes for design, development, testing and implementation, in line with the Department’s commitment to continuous improvement.
* Contribute to future resource and capacity planning for emerging ICT requirements to provide continuous improvement for the Department and system users.
* Build and maintain key relationships with users, technical staff and stakeholders to determine and resolve issues.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have –
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated relevant professional experience.
* Experience in the development and implementation of software applications in a large government agency or commercial enterprise with the focus on Microsoft Power Apps/Platform.
* Communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
