About The Role Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. The Professor Marie Bashir Centre (PMBC) at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital offers mental health services to consumers requiring care on acute and high dependency units, as well as specialised services for eating disorders and perinatal mental health. The Occupational Therapy (OT) team at PMBC is part of SLHD’s well-established Inpatient Mental Health OT Department. The Level 4 OT provides specialist services and senior clinical leadership within Occupational Therapy, and has a mixed clinical caseload across the Peter Beumont Eating Disorder Unit and acute mental health. The role is also responsible for leadership of L1/2 and L3 OTs, including clinical supervision to allocated staff.
