Job Role:
The Water Quality Technical Advisor plays a pivotal part in ensuring the safety and quality of drinking water for Western Australians.
* Oversight of the regional implementation of the Drinking Water Quality Management Framework
* Development and execution of comprehensive water quality monitoring programs
* Conduct of thorough investigations and audits, including site inspections and catchment strategy reviews
* Translation of regulatory requirements into actionable operational plans
This role necessitates a degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline, accompanied by significant experience in drinking water quality and catchment management. Strong knowledge of the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines is essential. The successful candidate will also have experience applying quality management systems, a background in water operations and/or natural resource management, and the ability to mentor and train others.
