As our marketing activity continues to expand, we're looking for a Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day execution across email marketing, content, social media, and reporting.
The Role
This is a hands‑on role supporting our Brand & Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager across a wide range of marketing activities.
You'll help bring campaigns to life, assist with content creation and scheduling, support email marketing and newsletters, and keep marketing systems organised and running smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years' experience who is looking to grow their skills in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing & Newsletters
* Assist with building and sending email campaigns and newsletters
* Support audience segmentation and contact list management
* Help schedule, proof, and QA email content
* Maintain email databases and support basic reporting
Copywriting & Content Support
* Assist with writing and editing marketing copy for:
* Emails
* Website updates
* Social captions
* Internal communications
* Newsletters
* Support proofreading and brand tone consistency
Social Media Support
* Assist the Social Media Manager with:
* Engagement and community management
* Responding to comments and messages (where appropriate)
* Help prepare content for posting across platforms
Design & Asset Support
* Create simple marketing assets using Canva
* Assist with resizing and formatting content for different platforms
* Support campaign asset preparation for email, social, and website use
(Design experience is helpful but not essential.)
Marketing Admin & Reporting
* Organise marketing contacts, lists, and basic CRM data
* Assist with monthly reporting and performance tracking
* Support campaign coordination and internal marketing projects
* Help keep marketing files, templates, and documentation organised
About You
Experience
* 2+ years' experience in a marketing, Graphic design, or SMM role.
* Experience supporting email marketing and social media
* Solid understanding of marketing channels and customer communication
Skills & Attributes
* Comfortable working with tools such as:
* Social scheduling tools
* Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (desirable, but not essential)
* Basic understanding of WordPress and/or WIX is desirable but not essential
* ChatGPT best practices
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
