About the Role
The RSPCA South Australia is based in O'Halloran Hill and believes in interacting with animals using positive reinforcement. This role is for animal care volunteers who will assist with providing care, rehabilitation and enrichment to animals. Volunteers will interact with animals using positive reinforcement handling techniques and learn skills from experienced team members. While providing support and care, volunteers also positively engage with customers, ensuring they receive an engaging and educational experience.

Requirements
Must be over the age of 18 and be willing to learn new skills and techniques. Commitment is preferred long-term but short-term commitment is also accepted.

* Time Required: Opening hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Morning, afternoon, or full‑day shifts available (Monday – Sunday). Volunteer must be willing to do at least one 4‑hour shift per fortnight. Short‑term or long‑term commitment (long‑term preferred).
* Training: Provided on the job / online (Bullying and Harassment, Work Health and Safety, Site Induction, etc.).
