Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Youth and Mental Health Services team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality care to children and young people with complex mental health needs.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist triage, crisis, and clinical assessment services. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing care plans, supporting the reduction of Emergency Department waiting times, and promoting a positive working culture within the Agency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist triage, crisis, and clinical assessment services to children and young people with complex mental health needs.
* Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Support the reduction of Emergency Department waiting times and admissions.
* Promote a positive working culture within the Agency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
* Specialist tertiary graduate or postgraduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualifications.
* Current Working with Children Registration.
