A recent focus on the Australasian business with a push for headcount driven by the regional management team has drawn out the need for an impressive, up and coming individual with a strong focus on career growth to join in the capacity of Vendor Manager, leading the relationship with a significant Cyber vendor and Storge Vendor to drive the vendor strategy through the channel.
**Your New Position**
Will see you operating in a cutting-edge team environment, owning a relationship with a glabally dominant Data Storage vendor and executing the vendor strategy into the reseller and integrator market. Leveraging your vendor partner resources, along with your marketing, technical and sales colleagues, your work will focus on strengthening and structuring the existing partner engagement, keeping them abreast of the latest developments and advancements of your vendor portfolio, driving marketing strategies through the partner base and supporting your partners in their deal pursuits. Your process driven, Targeted Account Selling methodologies will be crucial to success as you align yourself with key persons of influence, playing an active part in the sales value chain to the end customer.
**Experience Required**
- You come equipped with a demonstrable history of sales and engagement achievement within the IT channel and are able to influence sales outcomes rather than simply taking orders.
- Experience working for a distributor or an IT vendor with the channel will be viewed favourably.
- You understand and can develop deal specific partner pricing structures and have a demonstrated capability driving marketing initiatives through to partners.
- You have proven capability working with partners to achieve sales outcomes
- Well-honed presentation experience will be regarded well as will a solid process driven approach.
- You are driven, motivated and work with a professional attitude and pride in achievement.
