The Sebel Kiama is seeking a Wedding & Events Co-Ordinator to join their busy and energetic Operational team.
You will be the key hotel contact for all wedding clients and predominently focussed on delivering memorable weddings that will be remembered for a lifetime.
You will also have the opportunity to assist with other conference and event clients. You will coordinate all aspects of these events and be instrumental in their success.
What are your main responsibilities?
* Conduct hotel site inspections and familiarisation tours to existing and potential clients
* Preparation and delivery of proposals and contracts for client weddings, conferences and events
* Construct accurate event orders and all relevant wedding, event and conference group documentation
* Facilitate communication between clients and operational departments
* Participate in weekly banquet event order meetings
* Take responsibility to ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames
* Lead by example when attending to guest requests
* Show efficiency in constantly striving to provide total customer satisfaction
* Ability to contribute to broader marketing initiatives including social media plans and advertising development would be highly regarded
