Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to fill the position of Carer Promotion, Recruitment and Development Support Officer. This role will play a vital part in engaging with community, family, industry and stakeholders to promote foster care across the Pilbara region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to attract foster carers using contemporary and alternative approaches. This will involve rethinking conventional ways of promotion, advertisement, engagement, marketing and attraction activities.
The role requires strong project planning skills, public speaking abilities, event planning experience, marketing and promotion skills, administration and coordination expertise. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, as well as an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
