About The Role
The Graphic Design and Technology Teacher nurtures students' creativity and problem-solving skills through innovative and evidence-based teaching practices. By designing and delivering engaging lessons across areas such as digital design and emerging technologies, the teacher inspires students to explore how design thinking can be applied to real-world contexts. They guide students in developing technical proficiency, from concept generation and digital modelling to prototyping and production, while encouraging critical reflection and innovation. Collaboration is key to this role, involving strong partnerships with colleagues, families, and industry connections to ensure students are supported and inspired. Through ongoing assessment, constructive feedback, and the integration of contemporary tools and resources, the teacher fosters confidence, independence, and a passion for design and technology.

* Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
* ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
* ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
