Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for:
* New Business Identification: Identify new business opportunities with enterprise customers.
* Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to enhance business growth.
* Private Mobile Networks Focus: The primary focus will be on Private Mobile Networks.
* Industry Representation: Represent the company in industry events and activities.
* Industry Knowledge: Keep abreast of industry trends and developments.
* C-Level Communication: Strong communications skills engaging effectively with CIOs, CTOs, and COOs in customer organisations.
* Sales Cycle Progression: Progress opportunities through the sales cycle, following internal processes and working with the team to price, contract and close profitable deals.
* Negotiation and Relationship Building: Negotiates effectively, builds trust, and balances directness with diplomacy.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Business Development Manager should have:
* Qualifications: A degree in Business, Engineering or Communications.
* Experience: At least 10 years solution selling experience.
* Industry Expertise: Private Wireless industry solutions sales and success.
* Sales Performance: A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Social Skills: Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Motivation and Initiative: A high level of motivation and initiative.
