Earthworks Diesel Repairs are seeking an experienced and qualified Mobile Plant Mechanic to join us on a full-time basis, either based in our workshop or taking on a field service role based on experience and comfortability!
Duties & responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing and repairs of various plant and equipment
- Completing service sheets, job cards and liaising with workshop supervisor
- Keeping a neat and respectable work area
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and plan preventive measures
- Order and replace defective parts, ensuring proper installation and functionality
Experience & attributes:
- Relevant Mechanical Trade qualification
- Hydraulic and electrical diagnostic experience
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- First aid accreditation is preferred (though non-essential)
- HR licence is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- Commitment to secure work practices
