We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our team, supporting operations across Australia and our Utah site. This role is central to driving financial insight, improving performance, and partnering with operational and commercial teams to support decision-making.
The Role
You'll bridge the gap between finance and the wider business—delivering high-quality reporting, forecasting, and analysis while providing clear, actionable insights to leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analysis
* Deliver month-end reporting and management accounts
* Provide regular sales, commercial, and operational reporting
* Monitor inventory, sales performance, and credit control
* Build and maintain reporting in Tagetik
* Conduct ad hoc financial analysis
Forecasting & Modelling
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
* Track performance against budget and analyse variances
* Develop cost and production models
* Support strategic decisions through scenario modelling
Business Partnering
* Work closely with leadership and budget holders to explain financial performance
* Present insights at site meetings
* Support business case development and financial processes
* Partner with commercial teams to manage receivables
Finance & Process Support
* Support system improvements and finance process changes
* Review payment runs and assist with financial controls
* Contribute to fixed asset verification and occasional transaction support
About You
* Proven experience in a finance role, ideally within manufacturing
* CPA/CA qualified (or working towards) or equivalent experience
* Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting systems (SAP desirable)
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
* Self-starter with a proactive and collaborative approach
