Marketing and Design Officer

This is a part-time role working 0.8 Full Time Equivalent (FTE), which translates to four days per week.
We're seeking a creative and driven Marketing and Design Officer to help elevate awareness, support communities, and amplify impactful stories.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for championing the StandBy brand across digital and printed materials, ensuring consistent and high-quality application nationwide.
Key responsibilities include designing engaging social media content, videos, and digital assets that inform, educate, and inspire.
Collaboration with the Brand and Communications Lead will be essential in developing and implementing national marketing strategies and campaigns.
Additional duties involve overseeing coordination for the EPM printing website portal for the national program, including planning, coordination, implementation, troubleshooting, checking, and administration for all StandBy partner agencies and staff nationally.
Templates and resources will need to be created and managed for internal teams and partner agencies across the country.
Maintenance and updates of the StandBy website (WordPress) are also required, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and visually appealing.
Social media content will need to be planned and scheduled across platforms using Hootsuite (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
Monitoring analytics to measure impact, adapt strategies, and grow our online presence is crucial.
Work will be done with StandBy teams to assist with all design marketing elements and collateral, ensuring they meet brand guidelines.
Required qualifications and skills:
* A degree or relevant qualification in marketing, design, communications, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with strong skills in graphic design and content creation.
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and video editing tools.
* Strong copywriting, proofreading, and editorial skills with a sharp eye for detail.
* The ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Familiarity with social media strategy, analytics, and emerging digital trends.
