What You Will Be Doing
The ICY service will expand and grow across the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula catchment to provide treatment, care and wellbeing supports to children, young people and their families in their local areas, close to home. Peninsula Health is committed to the principles of Recovery-Orientated Practice. It aims to provide timely and equitable access to a quality service, and actively supports and encourages consumer and carer participation in all aspects of planning and delivery of mental health services.
The Program Manager reports to the Operations Director Mental Health for all operational matters, to the Clinical Director Mental Health for all clinical matters; to the Director of Nursing Mental Health for all nursing practice issues; and to the relevant allied health senior discipline and lived experienced manager.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
•Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration
•Post Graduate qualification in Mental Health or similar
•Extensive clinical experience in the management and provision of ICY AMH services
•Experience in the management of human and financial resources at a senior level.
•Experience in strategic and operational planning
•Proven ability to meet strategic, operational and budget objectives
•Advanced leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead in complex environments
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
•Thorough knowledge of the legal framework for the provision of mental health care including the Mental Health Act 2014

Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
