Windscreen Fitter Apprentice Position
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Windscreen Fitter Apprentice to join our team in Burnie, Tasmania.
* This role offers on-the-job training where you will develop skills in automotive glazing, repair vehicle glass, and deliver top-notch customer service.
* Candidates should possess a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To assist experienced windscreen fitters with the fitting of windscreens on motor vehicles;
2. To learn how to use various tools required for this trade including pneumatic pumps, drills etc; To participate in job briefings at commencement of each shift;
to ensure all safety procedures are followed whilst working;
promptly report any damage or breakages associated with the removal/fitting of windscreens.
safe operation of equipment and quality control systems is expected;
to respond positively to constructive feedback from supervisors;
on completion of tasks delegated by supervisor as deemed necessary. This includes compliance with standards/adherence guidelines if applicable;</p>
