Seeking expressions of interest for a HSE Advisor position that is offered as either residential (Karratha, WA) or FIFO from Perth, day shift rosters and offers a competitive hourly rate on 12-hour shifts. This opportunity will initially be on a contract basis (minimum 3 months) with the possibility of a permanent role in due course.

PRM is currently looking for ahands-on HSE Advisorwho enjoys being on site, building relationships, and making a real difference. This is a site-based role with variety, autonomy, and working at different locations every day. You will be joining an experienced HSE team within our Karratha based office. You will play an integral role in partnering with our leaders and management team, to help improve the effectiveness of the business and site operations.
Key responsibilities
* Auditing Safety, Environment and Quality compliance on site
* Conducting client and PRM based critical control field verifications
* Attend daily pre start meetings and provide HSE support to the supervisor
* Monitoring and auditing the HSE management system
* Investigate incidents, near misses and provide detailed reports
* Coaching and mentoring employees and contract partners
* Supporting document control processes relating to the HSE Management System
* Preparation of HSE presentation material
* Conduct Inductions
* Building relationships with team members and maintaining strong safety standards
Skills and experience
* Previous experience in a similar HSE role
* Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety. People currently working towards may be considered.
* Unrestricted C Class Drivers Licence
* Ability to pass Cat 3 Rail medical (along with drug and alcohol screening)
* Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
* Experience in training & completing VOC for heavy machinery
* Heavy Machinery Licences (eg. Excavator, Loader, Forklift)
* Rail experience
* Experience around Surface Mobile Equipment (SME)
