scouted. is pleased to bring to market a career-defining opportunity for an experienced Investment Analyst, to work with a specialised commercial real estate investment manager offering a range of structured financial solutions to property developers and investors. With a deep experience across all real estate sectors and Australian geographies & backed by the Buxton family, our client is one of the pre-eminent and most established names in Australian property, with a distinguished history of successful investments.
**The Role**:
The Investment Analyst will have an active role in the business, supporting the team in performing the review, execution and ongoing management of investments. As a member of the team, you will be focused on delivering exceptional client outcomes, possessing strong analytical and communication skills.
Primary responsibilities include transaction structuring and analysis, fund analytics, procurement and review of due diligence material, preparation of investment papers and reporting on the status of ongoing investments. The Investment Analyst will also assist in relationship management of existing and target customers.
Other key duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Preparation of investment memorandums and investment committee papers
- Co-ordination and review of due-diligence material
- Monitoring, management and reporting on existing investments and exposures
- Maintaining a sound understanding of relevant market analytics and insights
- Fostering strong working relationships with valuers, agents, solicitors and other consultants
**Required skills**:
- **Must have 2-3+**years' experience in **commercial real estate finance, Banking** or **commercial real estate valuations**:
- Those with a bachelor's degree in Property and Valuations and a qualified CPV, or Finance and Economics Qualifications will be at a significant advantage
- Have strong financial modelling skills including proficiency with Excel
- Proven ability to identify, assess and manage risk with sensitivity to commercial considerations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to present to key stakeholders
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be highly beneficial
