The Spirit Of Melbourne Cruising Restaurant is Melbourne's iconic floating dining experience ,offering scenic Lunch, Brunch, and Dinner Cruises along the Yarra River. As a multi-award winning tourism and hospitality leader, We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, unforgettable views, and top tier cuisine. With a legacy of excellence and a passionate team, we're looking for a Supervisor to lead our front-of -house team and elevate guest experiences.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to lead the service operations onboard our vessel. This role involves working closely with the existing FOH team, kitchen, boat crew and loading teams to ensure a smooth and memorable service for every cruise.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the FOH team during Lunch, Brunch, Dinner, and special event cruises.
Setup, coordinate, and host each cruise with energy and professionalism.
Provide outstanding customer service and manage guest expectations .
Liaise with chefs, boat crew, and loading teams for seamless operations.
Maintain a clean and organised dining environment at all times.
Support training and mentoring of new and junior staff.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or tourism.
A confident and charismatic personality - able to host the night and make guests feel welcome.
Strong community and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team -oriented environments.
Flexibility to work Wednesday to Sunday, including weekends and evenings.
RSA Victorian certification and full Australian work rights.
