We are looking for a lab technician/QC officer for a global beverage company in Western Sydney. Short term contract - $35-40/hour + super

**About the Role**:
Our client is a global leading beverage company. They are urgently looking for a lab technician to join their team in Western Sydney area.
**Your key responsibilities but not limited to**:
- Conduct relevant routine process control and analytical testing of in-process materials and finished products to ensure compliance to company specifications and record and report as required
- Accurately perform test methods as documented, use, maintain and perform routine calibration of laboratory equipment
- Identify and isolate non-conforming materials or products and follow through to ensure corrective and preventative action is taken
- Conduct line audits and process control monitoring to continuously improve housekeeping, safety, work practices and customer service, and performance Problem Solving & Performance
- On the event fault finding and corrective actions
**About you**:
- Degree in Analytical chemistry or relevant experiences in a similar environment
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, Quality systems, and food safety guidelines
- Previous experience with analytical test equipment is preferred, i.e. HPLC, GC/FID
- Working knowledge of SAP
