Job Title
A casual chef position is available in our aged care facilities, overseeing meal preparation and managing a small team.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook meals using fresh ingredients and manage food safety compliance.
* Train and supervise staff, ensuring quality service delivery.
* Manage catering for small functions and cater to special dietary requirements.
As a qualified chef, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.
About You
* Experience as a chef in large groups or similar environments.
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and ability to supervise staff.
* Knowledge of the Food Act and Food Standards Code.
You will also be required to uphold the values of the organisation and obtain relevant vaccinations. This role requires a current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
