Job Description:
Boom Logistics is seeking an experienced Safety Culture Leader to lead their NSW and Victorian operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Health, Safety and Environment (HSEQ) management and be able to champion a zero-harm culture.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading incident investigations, audits and compliance checks, as well as managing injury management and workers' compensation processes. They will also be required to build strong client and regulator relationships, representing the company's HSEQ leadership.
The role requires a proven track record of experience in a senior HSEQ role within industrial services, construction, resources or renewables. A demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational delivery is essential.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and relevant WHS legislation. A mandatory qualification in Health and Safety (Certificate minimum; Diploma or Degree preferred) is also required.
A Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, High Risk Work or Heavy Vehicle Licences, and Internal Auditor Qualification with demonstrated practical application are desirable but not essential.
The successful applicant will be a credible communicator who can influence at all levels, from field crews to executives and regulators. Strong leadership and coaching capability to build management confidence in safety leadership is also essential.
