The ACU Graduate Research School is the dedicated point of contact for all Higher Degree by Research candidates. ACU offers 17% employer superannuation, salary packaging and generous leave provisions. Join a team of dedicated professional staff working closely with academic and professional areas in managing the day-to-day activities that support the HDR candidate journey. Full time, continuing role at our Melbourne campus with some hybrid flexibility.
About the role
- Reporting to the Senior Graduate Research Coordinator, the Senior Graduate Research Engagement Officer plays a key role in enhancing the experience of graduate research candidates and their supervisors.
- Manage day-to-day activities that support the HDR candidate journey, including coordination of flagship events such as the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, researcher development initiatives, and supervisor accreditation processes.
- Deliver high-level administrative support to candidates, academic staff and key stakeholders, ensuring consistent and responsive service.
- Support continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency by managing complex processes and providing expert policy guidance.
- Act as a delegate for the Senior Graduate Research Coordinator when required, supporting leadership continuity within the Graduate Research School.

What we offer
- Total remuneration valued to $124,509 - $134,699 total rem (pro rata) per annum, including salary component $105,212 - $113,823 (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata, dependent on commencement date.
