We are seeking a passionate and experienced Child Care Cook/Chef to join our team in Orange NSW.
Job Responsibilities
* Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of delicious, healthy and age-appropriate meals and snacks for children.
* Nutrition and Safety: Ensure all meals and snacks meet nutritional requirements and dietary needs, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the early childhood educators to understand the children's preferences and dietary requirements.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Relevant qualification in commercial cookery or food preparation.
* Experience: Demonstrated experience working as a cook/chef in a child care or similar early learning environment is preferred.
* Knowledge: Strong knowledge of nutrition, food safety and hygiene standards.
