The Public Engagement Specialist will develop and deliver targeted engagement activities, collaborating across the organization to convey impactful information.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create strategic communications and engagement plans and materials
* Develop compelling content, such as web text, social media posts, reports, and briefs
* Prepare informative briefings for senior leaders and executives
* Apply contemporary engagement techniques and best practices
* Evaluate projects and insights to inform ongoing activity and improvement
* Collaborate with the team to deliver key initiatives
* Support media and social monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of engagement activities
* Organize consultation and information events, analyze results, and communicate outcomes
About the Role:
We seek a professional with experience in developing and implementing integrated communications and/or engagement strategies and campaigns.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated expertise in strategic engagement and communications
* Audience-focused approach, informed by research, insights, and evaluation
* Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Understanding of issue management and meeting deadlines amid competing priorities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and two years' experience in related fields
