**The Role**
Reporting into the National Commercial Manager, you will be working hand in hand with the senior leadership team.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Analysis and reporting of systems & procedures
- Assist with supplier tender process and costing comparisons
- Maintaining rate cards in systems including importing rates
- Analytical problem solving and system planning identifying opportunities for improvement
- Daily interaction with internal and external stakeholders
- Plan and assist in operational efficiencies
- Providing analysis on impacts to customers profitability and revenue
**You have the following qualities & qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Transport/Statistics preferred
- 3+ year's work experience in an analytical or management accountingrole
- Previous transport and warehousing experience highly regarded but not all important
- The ability to become an expert in product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to work with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution
- Experience within a fast-paced and demanding business environment
- Costing and pricing experience would be valued but overall the ability to put together or someone who would love to learn how to put together good, strong financial models will be the most important skill set
- Professional command of MS-Office (Word and Power Point) and advanced excel skill incl. good handle on large data sets.
- Preparation of regular and ad hoc analytical reports to enhance business outcomes
