About the role
We are an energetic and dynamic accounting practice in Mandurah committed to the development of each person on our team. Continued growth has created an opportunity in our Mandurah office for an enthusiastic and career minded office administrator to assist our busy accounting practice on a Full-Time basis.
You will have a varied workload and some of your responsibilities will include.
* Answering phones in a positive and polite phone manner;
* Client invoicing;
* ATO lodgements;
* Processing incoming and outgoing mail;
* Collating Tax Returns and Activity Statements to be sent out to clients;
* Bookkeeping;
* General office duties including photocopying, filing, binding, banking and running any errands as required.
About you
This role is for you if you work well within a small team, have a confident and friendly personality and thrive on challenges. We're looking for a positive, confident team player who has the ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and work autonomously. The successful candidate will have good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications ie; Word, Excel and Outlook and will ideally have office administrator experience in an accounting firm. Bookkeeping / data entry experience is desirable.
We use Xero as our accounting software together with HowNow for all our client correspondence and workpapers. Knowledge of these programs along with the ATO Portal is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
