About the Role
We run two construction based businesses based in the Western Suburbs.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has a strong eye for accuracy, and can manage small business accounts with care and efficiency.
We require a two-three days a week commitment. You would be located over two offices. One in Nedlands and the other in North Fremantle.
Key Responsibilities
* Record and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly transactions.
* Process accounts payable and receivable.
* Manage payroll and superannuation.
* Prepare and lodge BAS and other compliance reports.
* Support month-end reporting and liaise with accountants as needed.
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity in accounting systems.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting for small to medium businesses.
* Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
* Sound understanding of ATO requirements (GST, PAYG, super).
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification preferred.
