Full time, fixed term opportunity (Until 05/02/2027 - Parental leave backfill)
Wadawurrung/Geelong based role (hybrid work from home – 3 days a week in office)
About the opportunity
At WorkSafe Victoria, the Enterprise Change Management Practice (ECMP) is vital to achieving our strategic goals. We empower individuals to embrace change and drive our mission forward. As a Change Manager, you'll play a key role in crafting and executing change management plans that ensure smooth transitions and enthusiastic adoption of our strategic and operational initiatives.
What You'll Do:
As our Change Manager, you'll lead change delivery across projects and programs. Your expertise will help integrate technological advancements, new processes, and strategic shifts across the enterprise. Here's a glimpse of your responsibilities:
Craft Change Management Plans: Identify, schedule, and manage activities that boost employee adoption and enhance experiences throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct Change Impact Assessments: Partner with key stakeholders to assess the impact of changes, ensuring our strategies and plans are informed and effective.
Develop Tailored Change Activities: Create and execute change initiatives for small to medium projects, including stakeholder analyses, training plans, communication strategies, and measures of change effectiveness.
Engage and Consult: Work closely with sponsors and Business Unit leaders to identify potential risks and foster a supportive environment for change.

About you
This role is perfect for a proactive Change Management professional with a proven track record in complex transformation programs. You're a natural problem-solver with keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Juggling multiple priorities under pressure is your forte, and you thrive in fast-paced environments.
Additionally, you will possess the following skills and experience:
Change Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and implementing change projects that drive organizational objectives and foster employee commitment.
Strategic Development: Experience in creating and implementing change strategies that align with program goals.
Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes.
Sound Judgement: Skilled at navigating complex environments while influencing stakeholders and multi-disciplinary team members to deliver effective outcomes.
Analytical Acumen: Proficient in applying change models and tools, backed by strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills that help you quickly establish credibility and trust with leaders and team members.
Independent Yet Collaborative: Ability to lead analysts and work autonomously, providing updates as necessary.
Qualifications - Desirable
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (preferred)
Change Management Certification (Prosci preferred).
